E-TEF CANADA
TEF FOR THE CANADIAN ARMED FORCES
The French Language Evaluation Test (TEF) has been selected to be integrated into the Canadian Armed Forces personnel recruitment process.
Candidates pre-selected by the Canadian Forces Recruiting Center (CFRC) will be able to take the French test, as proficiency in the French language is a prerequisite for recruiting personnel.
It is up to the candidate to choose all the required modules.

Details
The TEF Canada, used to assess your oral proficiency in French, consists of the following 2 modules:
Compréhension Orale
CO reflects real-life situations: conversations, extracts from radio programs, public announcements, etc.
60 multiple choice questions - 40 minutes
Computer-based. Candidates have individual headsets.
Expression Orale
EO is evaluated through a role-play that demonstrates the know-how and expertise in real-life situations.
Section A: gather information, ask questions
Section B: present a document, assess, compare and convince your friend in an informal conversation.

BRING your valid PASSPORT, PERMANENT RESIDENCE CARD or DRIVER'S LICENCE
no other ID is accepted)
ARRIVE a minimum of 15 minutes before the scheduled exam time
or you will not be permitted to take the test and there will be no refunds possible.
